Fleassy (she/they) is a queer, gender-fluid, neurodiverse, artist from the UK now living, working, and creating on the lands of the Wurundjeri, Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation. A multi-disciplinary artist, they explore a wide range of topics such as gender, belonging, sexuality, body positivity, connection and women’s and LGBTQIA+ rights.

Primarily a writer, performer, and illustrator, Fleassy uses both visual and linguistic tools both separately and together and is known for their fierce-gentle style of storytelling.

Fleassy Malay is the founder of Melbourne's NFP organisation Mother Tongue Poetry, they have published 2 poetry books, a children's book, and in 2022 they published an adults colouring book called “Hex The Patriarchy - An Adult Colouring Book for Depressed Witches".
