Platform Exhibitions present 'Out of This World' - a pop up group art exhibition.

 

Returning to The Store @ Abbotsford Convent, we cordially invite you to join us on a journey beyond the realms of ordinary. 

​

Like all of our events, you can expect an indoor/outdoor, multi-room event with 30+ artists, a rotation of DJs, a selection of market stalls as well as an operating bar and food stall all day.

Location: The Store @ Abbotsford Convent (1 St Heliers St, Abbotsford VIC 3067)

A fully accessible and inclusive space.

Ticket Price: $20 (Kids under 16 + those identifying as First Nations or Torres Strait Islanders are free)

interested in hosting a market stall with us?

Market stall applications are open for designers, crafters and makers aged 18+

(Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult)

Items permitted includes (and are not limited to):

clothes, accessories, ceramic, stickers, stationary, personalised items, art kits for home and more.

 

Artists are not permitted to host a market stall and are instead encouraged to apply to exhibit with us on our walls. This includes prints, embroidery and work on canvas.

We have moved to Humanitix. 100% of profit from booking fees fund education projects for the world's most disadvantaged children to close the global education gap.

Online tickets close at 3PM on the 4th of November. Tickets will be available at door all night at a higher cost ($25)

Those identifying as First Nations or Torres Strait Islanders receive complimentary entry - must email us at hello@platformexhibitions.com before the day of the event to receive your ticket

GETTING TO OFTW

 

Public Transport

​

Train:

Catch a Mernda or Hurstbridge line train to Victoria Park Station. The train station is a 10-15 minutes walk to the Convent

​

Bus:

Bus 200 or 207 bus down Johnston St to Clarke St stop. The bus stop is a 3-5 minute walk to the Convent.

​

Parking

All day parking is available in the car park directly across from the Convent on St Heliers Street. The machines accept credit cards, notes and gold coins. Funds from the car park go towards the restoration and daily operation of the Convent, and also support our neighbours, the Collingwood Children’s Farm.

Parking Weekend rates:
30 mins = $3
$1 per half hour thereafter
5 ½ – 10 hours = $14
$2 per hour after 10 hours

Max daily rate (until 2am) = $28
Additional overnight fee (after 2am) = $25
Lost ticket = $28

Accessibility:

The Store is wheelchair accessible via a private side entrance. Gender-neutral and accessible toilets are available nearby.

Follow the above map to the circled area of Abbotsford Convent. 

 

From the main entrance, you want to keep to the right side; walking past the Convent Bakery. Then turn the first right in the direction of the Heritage Garden. Continue down that path and you'll see signs directing you to the entrance of The Store where our exhibition will be.
