Platform Exhibitions. is proud to have presented

COZY.

Hosted at Meat Market's Stables in North Melbourne between 2-8 PM, Platform is honoured to have showcased 27 artists across 3 rooms.

This exhibition explored the boundaries between complacency, comfort, growth and discomfort. Guests joined us on a journey of introspection as we examined the variables that influences your comfort and discomfort, the fluidity of these boundaries and the costs of our comfort and discomfort.

While providing COVID relief for our art & music community, this event also aimed to show support for an organisation that dedicates itself to the education and celebration of Koorie Art & Culture too. 25% of this event's proceeds was donated to the Koorie Heritage Trust and as a result, we were able to fundraise $1150.

Ticketed event | 27 Artists | 1 Band | 4 DJs | Wine & Beer at the bar

Cozy. Exhibition aimed to explore comfort and discomfort as fluid dichotomies. Among many questions, some of the questions it wanted to explore are: What are some things that define your comfort zone? Is it always healthy to stay within your comfort zone? What defines the lines between being cozy and being too comfortable? Can you be both comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time? In the same space? Who or what defines your answers for this? Can discomfort ultimately bring a sense of comfort? Where is the line between pushing your boundaries and distress?
