Vanessa Trinh, is a self taught oil painter and has been honing her craft for several years. From her garage, which doubles as a home studio, Vanessa’s artistic projects take shape. These include, painting, DIY decor and flipping furniture. Vanessa’s works are inspired by cultural icons. Musicians, actors, movies and symbols representative of her generation all provide inspiration from which she draws on and incorporates into her works. Vanessa has always been hands on, having worked as a barista and now a hair dresser, she lives by a DIY-ethic and this shines through in her works. Vanessa first started painting and making furniture to furnish her home. After her works begun to resonate with friends and family, she started to undertake commissioned works in 2019 and has presented her oeuvre in numerous exhibitions since then.
