Steff is a Melbourne based artist. She is heavily inspired by the land, sea, and experiences in this crazy world.
Currently working on commission pieces Steff has recently finished her second Solo Exhibition "From Above" which explored the theme of natural landscapes.
Steff’s love of the abstract world was awoken about four years ago. Having not touched a paintbrush since high school, art has been incredibly freeing. Key was the realisation that using colours and patterns alone can make remind someone of a certain time, place or make you feel a certain way.
This realisation has sparked a fire inside and Steff feels that this is only the beginning of her creative journey.

The 80s Neon era was something else! Every club, sign, room aesthetic or outfit had fluorescent pinks, blues, purples you name it. You may have heard your parents reminisce about the memories and moments they had in this time of their lives. Maybe you have watched movies or tv shows set in this era ( like those 80s movies in Miami! ) and wish you could have been there in the moment? They always make it feel and look so Nostalgic! Or maybe it was you, and you remember how you felt at this time in your life? Steff's works were inspired by this extremely Iconic, Nostalgic era, exploring the idea that using extremely vivid colours alone could spark a memory, moment or conversation with the audience.
